General Manager: Graig Kinzie Broadcasting career began at KBRB in 1995 as a part-time employee while attending Ainsworth High School. Attended Hastings College, majoring in broadcast and print media production and graduating in 2002. Worked as the sports editor, then as the news editor for the Keith County News in Ogallala from 2002-08 before returning home to KBRB to purchase the business from Hall of Fame Broadcaster and station founder Larry Rice in 2009. The guy who still comes in to drink coffee: Larry Rice Founding KBRB Radio in 1968, Larry wrapped up a Hall of Fame broadcasting career in 2009, selling KBRB after 41 years of operation. The recipient of virtually every accolade available in the radio broadcasting industry, Larry can still sometimes be found reading the newspaper in the KBRB studios, when he is not out chasing a yellow golf ball or drowning a nightcrawler. Traffic & Billing: Renee Adkisson One of the originals, she joined KBRB in March, 1968. She left to start a broadcast station in Gordon, Nebraska in 1979. Renee returned to her front office position here in 2001. E-mail: reneekbrb@sscg.net
Engineering/Sales/Announcing: Randy Brudigan Randy started his all-around position at KBRB in December 1975. He worked with our original chief engineer, Wes Jones, for a time, before taking over complete operation including the development of KBRB FM in 1983. Announcer: Monte Mauch Monte joined our staff in a part-time position in October 1992. He continues with air-shifts and has taken over duties of music director.
Announcer: Crystal Sell Started in December 1999 and continues with part-time air-shifts mostly afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Advertising Sales Manager: Angie Vonheeder November 2000, she began her broadcasting career. And as we do with all employees, she serves as co-host of the Classifieds program. E-mail: angiekbrb@sscg.net
Program Director and morning announcer: Cody Goochey His early morning duties started in March 2001. As several others on the staff, he is an Ainsworth High School graduate. Traffic & Billing: Connie Dillon July 2003 marked her start of learning the computer world of KBRB and the world of calls and questions to the front office.
Traffic & Billing: Cammie Waits Our newest addition to the front office joined KBRB in September of 2004 and happily anticipates serving listeners and advertisers.
In addition, KBRB continues to train and employ a number of part time students, many whom have gone on to successful careers in broadcasting.
