National Moth Week. National Horseradish Month.

Program reminder: Sonny Corkle with Northeast Community College will appear on KBRB's Open Line program at 9:35 a.m. to discuss fall course opportunities at NECC. Representatives from the Rock County Agricultural Society will appear on Open Line at 9:47 a.m. to discuss plans for the upcoming Rock County Fair. Ainsworth Senior Legion baseball vs. PWG airs on KBRB AM and the web at either 5 or 7:30 p.m.

* BKR 4-H ag literacy “Ice Cream in a Bag” workshop, 10:30 a.m. in Ainsworth Community Schools.

* Free lunch is served in the Ainsworth Community Schools Cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. until noon through the Summer Food Services Program for all children under 18. Adults may also eat lunch for $3.75.

* Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education special meet, noon in the district office to approve a principal contract for the 2016-17 year.
