United Methodist Church of Valentine with burial to follow at Mount Hope

Funeral Home. Bruce Phipps passed away Monday March 1st in the Cherry
County Hospital.

Schaefer, 80, of Valentine, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, in
the St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Valentine with burial to follow in the Mount
Hope Cemetery. Raymond Schaefer passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, in the Cherry
County Hospital at Valentine. A Rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the
St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Ruth of Valentine;
daughters Terri Kreycik of Ainsworth and Sandra Jacobsen of Salado, Texas;
sister Ruth Ferris of Valentine; and brothers Clem Schaefer and Lynn Schaefer,

Orville Dixon, 89, of Pierre, South Dakota, Feb. 13, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Gregory, SD. Burial
at the Winner Cemetery. He passed away Feb. 7th in
Lincoln. He grew up on the Dixon Ranch in Springview and graduated from
Keya Paha Co. High School in 1939.
Survivors
include wife, Ina (Haaf) Dixon of Lincoln; two daughters, Judy and Jean, one

death of former Ainsworth resident Robert "Gene" O'Donnell of
Longmont, Colo. Funeral service was held Jan. 7. He passed away Jan. 1 at the
age of 88. Survivors include his wife Jackie of Longmont.

Kenneth William Schroder, 69, of Hay Springs formerly of Ainsworth died
Dec. 29 at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs. Funeral services were Jan. 2 at the
Chadron Berean Church. Burial with military honors was held at the Ashby
Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife Kay; son Shane Schroder; one
granddaughter; sister Ruby Bishop and husband Harry of Scottsbluff; brother

Ainsworth resident Terry Fales, 59, of Broken Bow Jan. 5 in the
Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow with burial at the Arnold, Nebraska
cemetery. He passed away Dec. 30 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Survivors include a step-daughter; Jenny Landen of Kearney,
step-son; Thad Hock of Denver, Colorado and a sister; Connie and husband Dan
Spencer of Hastings. Terry was employed at KBRB in Ainsworth starting in 1973.
